We understand that changing our outlook on how we all purchase day-to-day is vital in the fight against increasing ocean waste and pollution. That is why we've made a commitment.

For every YAKKIDA order you place, we will fund the recovery and recycling of 1KG of ocean-bound plastic waste before it enters our oceans and waterways. That's equivalent to 50 plastic bottles!

Not only that, the donations made on your behalf through your orders help in the fight against poverty by establishing modern waste infrastructure in vulnerable, coastal communities worldwide. This infrastructure is then able to create new employment opportunities and a fair wage to those living locally.

We are working towards a circular economy. 

It all begins by producing ultra high-quality products. But we aim to keep them in the use-cycle for as long as possible, or indefinitely, through reuse and recycling. Effectively eliminating waste and pollution. But we need your help!

By purchasing from YAKKIDA you are already making the responsible decision to buy better, which will last longer. But, if you manage to wear out your favourite items, we promise to give you 20% off your next order when you send them back to us to recycle and repurpose into new products, keeping the cycle closed.

S O U R C E 

Every one of our products is made using only 100% biodegradable or recycled fibres, and they always will be. 

We only use water-based inks on our products, and we ensure the factories we use to manufacture our garments even filter any waste-water using effluent treatment plants before it re-enters our water systems.
